Three Coaches, 6 Student Athletes and One Community Member are in the Inaugural Class of Inductees

Temecula Valley High School announced the establishment of the Golden Bear Athletics Hall of Fame. The purpose of the Hall of Fame is to honor and preserve the legacy and contributions of the many outstanding athletes, coaches, and supporters of the athletic programs.The Inaugural inductees are:
Stan Ford Athletic Director, Football Coach
Bud Kane, Football, Softball and Golf Coach
Rick Emard, Baseball, Golf and Tennis Coach
Perry Mansell, Community Member
Lisa Misipeka, Student-Athlete: Track and Basketball
Reed Johnson, Student-Athlete: Baseball and Soccer
Trinity Johnson, Student-Athlete: Softball
Ronnie Long, Student-Athlete: Wrestling and Football
Greg Campbell, Student-Athlete: Football, Soccer, Golf
Jessica Thompson, Student-Athlete: Basketball
The Hall of Fame is for Student athletes who have exhibited outstanding performance and honor as an individual or as a member of a varsity athletic team representing Temecula Valley High School. They must have attended TVHS for at least two years and participated in Varsity athletics during their tenure. Student athletes must have graduated at least five years before their nomination
For Coaches, Athletic Department personnel, or Friends of Temecula Valley High School Athletics, the Hall is for those who have contributed to the traditions and honor of Temecula Valley High School athletics.
The first class of Inductees will be inducted at a dinner at Luke’s in Old Town on May 11. A plaque in their honor will be placed on our Hall of Fame wall which is now up in the Main Gym.
The Hall of Fame Committee is comprised of current and former members of the athletic department, athletic boosters, alumni, and the school principal.
