Guest Guide
Where are you located?
Luke’s on Front is located on the rooftop of 28693 Old Town Front Street, Temecula, CA.
Guests enter through the main building lobby of Front Street Plaza and take the elevator up to the 4th floor.
Is there parking?
Yes. There is free public parking throughout Old Town Temecula, including nearby lots and street parking. The closest lot is directly behind our building- the "Roger Epperson Memorial Lot".
Please do not park in the parking garage directly attached to Front Street Plaza — this garage is reserved for residents only and unauthorized vehicles will be towed.
Allow extra time on weekends and evenings to find parking. Please see below for free parking.
Is the restaurant indoor or outdoor?
Luke’s on Front features both indoor and outdoor seating. Our rooftop patio is partially covered and can get warm in summer and cool in winter — we recommend dressing for the weather.
Are pets allowed?
Service animals are welcome. PETS ARE NOT PERMITTED per building regulations.
Is smoking or vaping allowed?
No. Our rooftop is a non-smoking, non-vaping venue.
Can I choose where I sit?
We do our best to honor seating preferences, but specific locations are not guaranteed.
When booking online, the system may ask you to select a seating area; however, final seating is based on availability at the time of your reservation.
Please note: Luke’s on Front is an open-air concept venue, so we recommend dressing for the weather.
What kind of seating do you offer?
We have a mix of booths, low-top tables, and high-top tables. Some tables feature barstool-style seating.
If anyone in your party requires special seating, please let us know when booking so we can do our best to accommodate. However, we cannot guarantee a specific type of seating in a particular area, as availability varies.
Can I reserve seats at the bar?
No — the bar is first-come, first-served and cannot be reserved.
We offer both indoor and outdoor seating, but bar spots remain open seating only.
Do you have heaters, air conditioning, or misters?
We have one private room with air conditioning and heating, but please note it may be booked for events.
Our main dining area is an open-air concept (covered but not fully enclosed). The outdoor patio has heaters and misters, but they are seasonal and not operable year-round.
While heaters and misters help mitigate the elements, you will still experience the natural outdoor environment, so we recommend dressing for the weather.
Is there a dress code?
We don’t have a formal dress code, but we encourage smart casual attire. Shoes and shirts are required; beachwear or excessively casual clothing may not be appropriate for evening dining.
Can I bring outside food or drinks?
Outside desserts are welcome for celebrations (cakes, cupcakes, etc.) at no charge.
Outside beverages are not allowed, except wine with a $15 corkage fee per bottle ($10 for local Temecula Valley bottles).
Do you offer dessert for birthdays or celebrations?
Yes — we’re happy to help celebrate! We offer a complimentary dessert with a candle for birthdays or special occasions. Just let your server know when you arrive.
What if I don’t like my order or it isn’t what I expected?
We want you to enjoy your meal and are happy to answer questions or offer guidance when you order. However, because every dish and drink is described on the menu and prepared to order, we’re unable to provide refunds or replacements based on personal preference (for example: dislike of listed ingredients, expecting alcohol taste in a non-alcoholic drink, or ordering something unfamiliar and finding you don’t enjoy the flavor). If something seems wrong with the preparation or quality, please let your server know right away so we can make it right.
What time is last call for food and drinks?
Sunday through Thursday, last call for food is at 8:45 PM. On Friday and Saturday, last call for food is at 9:45 PM. The bar is open during all business hours, and last call for drinks is 15 minutes before closing.
Do you take walk-ins?
Yes — we accept walk-ins as availability allows, but reservations are highly recommended, especially on weekends and for large groups.
Can we split checks?
For regular dining, we can split checks 3 ways or accept up to 3 forms of payment per table.
For private events, the bill must stay on one tab (with the exception of cash & carry alcohol purchases at the bar).
Are children welcome?
Yes — children are welcome while the restaurant is open.
We offer a kid's menu for guests 12 and under.
Adults may not order from the kid's menu.
What is considered a large party for reservations?
Any reservation of more than 12 guests is considered a large party and must be approved by management — hosts cannot book or seat large parties on their own.
Depending on availability and group size, your party may be seated at one large table or at tables placed directly next to each other.
How can I reserve a private area?
The only way to secure a private area is by booking an event and completing the process with an event coordinator.
Requests made through the host stand or regular reservations are not considered private bookings and will not be honored.
What is your tipping policy?
For regular dining, gratuity is at the guest’s discretion. For large parties (8+ adults) and events, a 20% gratuity is automatically added.
Do you accommodate dietary restrictions or food allergies?
Yes, but it is the guest’s responsibility to inform their server of any allergies or dietary restrictions.
While we take precautions, we cannot guarantee an allergen-free kitchen.
Do you host live music or events?
Yes — we often host DJ nights, holiday events, and special celebrations. Check our Events page or social media for upcoming happenings.
When do you decorate for the holidays?
Our Christmas décor goes up the morning after Halloween, October 31, and stays through early January.
When can I make December reservations?
December reservations are subject to availability and typically open one month in advance.
